2D Cockpit

We don't always need to fly having to look outside for ground reference, as in real flying, many times we're in IMC (Instrument meteorological conditions), or in the middle of the night and all we have to fly the aircraft are the instruments and our training.
Having perfectly readeble instruments is what we need when we can't see the runway yet and we know we're in the middel of a valley.

The 2D Cockpit becomes very usefull under these conditions..we only have a BIG, VISIBLE front cockpit with all the most important instruments that will guide us to a safe landing. The 2D cockpit is achieved with high detail renderings of the virtual cockpit 3D model or from high resolution photos of the real cockpit.
